A Friendship Tea

                   Hello everyone,

It is hard to believe it is September
already. I love all the seasons but I
have to admit I like to hang onto
summer as long as I can so I am
hoping for a few more weeks of
     warm summer days.

This beautiful Sadler teapot was one of a few
gifted to me by a fellow dish lover friend .
                               Thank you, Penelope...I love it!

I had just bought this Sadler teacup a few
                                                           weeks before.......serendipity
!

Tea and sugar cookies.

Happy September to all of you!

I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage
                                                                    for Tea Time Tuesday.

                                                                         Thank you for visiting,

                                                                                     Carolyn

What a pretty post! Your teapot is really sweet and the teacups match so well. The cookies look like they would simply melt in your mouth. A very pretty presentation with the posies!

Blessings,
Sandi

I agree, autumn is lovely, but it would be wonderful to have summer just a little bit longer.

How serendipitous! Your periwinkle blues are beautiful.

Another beautiful combination. You have such an eye. Those lovely tea things compliment each other so! Just the right tablecloth and flower petals too.

Serendipity indeed, Carolyn. That was a stroke of wonderful luck. SOOOO pretty, one and all! Susan

p.s. I hang on to summer for all it's worth, too. I am NOT putting out the fall wreath just yet.

So pretty in purple; your blog is just a ray of sunshine! When I lived in the type of climate you do many years ago I hung on to summer, too, ha! Have a blessed September and beautiful fall. It's gorgeous where you live.

Oh I can sure use a few more months of summer. But I do love autumn. Love your teapot. Lavender and purple are my favorite colors. Lovely photos.

What a lovely teapot it is Carolyn! It matches perfectly with your cups. Sadler made some beautiful china over the years. I have a lovely pink teapot at home.

Wishing you a happy weekend!
